Took this photo to put on the Maureen and Lorraine Camino Walk WhatsApp to show our support for their challenge
Once again the area was looking very
colourful, even the wall of this house
A sunny morning helped to show this
view of the Green Horse at its best
There were 18 of us today
Including Lynn and Barry who hadn’t walked for some time
And also Barry and Linda who have just arrived for a short visit
Jenny and Pierre also brought along a
guest
Chris has a holiday home in Denia, but is thinking of moving to Spain permanently
We could not have had a better day, or
group, to encourage him to do so
He certainly seemed to enjoy the walk
and loved the area
Thanks to Paula for sending me some
photos, including this one
I had worried that the water might be
too high after the recent rain
But there was only a small stream in the middle of the otherwise dry river bed
Linda was pleased that it was a “social
walk”, meaning room for two or more to walk together
Murla was, as always, very quiet
With lots of space for us all outside
the church
Claire lost her expensive sun glasses, she thought possibly during our banana break
She didn’t miss them until we had
started our return journey
We waited whilst Tim and Pierre went
back to the square with her
Unfortunately they did not find them
there
The rest of us continued the route
back to Parcent
They returned on the outward track to
look for the sun glasses
Unfortunately they were unable to find
them
So unfortunately it was a smaller
group than expected at the Cooperativa after the walk
Temperature – 18 to 21c
Time Taken – 3 hours
Distance – 9 km
