Another week with a terrible weather

This time 70% chance of rain
Plus two red weather warnings – for heavy
rain and storm
I had to make a decision by midday on
Sunday
I was inclined to cancel the walk – but Jan wanted to walk
So of course we walked
24 had asked to do the original walk
And I was very impressed that 18
wanted to do the alternative
It was raining as we left Parcent
But dry when we arrived in Jalon
However were a lot of black clouds
around
We had almost decided to go straight
to bar Claudia
But the sky cleared a little as it
approached 1000
So we decided to walk and just hope
for the best
Despite the dark clouds the sun came
out as we set off
And it remained dry until we were
almost back to Jalon
When the first rain drops fell, and
the umbrellas came out
Fortunately it was only a short shower
We had arranged to use upstairs at bar Claudia
Where we spent an enjoyable hour agreeing
how much we enjoyed the walk
Temperature – 19-21c
Time Taken – 2.5 hours
Distance – 8 km
