And this is likely to increase as we get closer to Christmas
Today there were 13 regulars who were
unable to walk
Despite this we had 23 on today’s walk
This included three new members
Also Duncan and Marilyn who are here
for a short visit
Plus Barry and Linda who we have not
seen since May
We were very lucky with the weather again
Warm sun, though quite cold in the
shade
Most wore a jumper or jacket, but
quite a few in shorts as well
We had s short water break on the
pipeline to admire the view
But it was in the shade and too cold
to sit as we usually do
Fortunately our regular banana stop at the font was in the sun
And it was very pleasant sitting in the sun
Barry and Linda brought some proper English sweets
Which were very much appreciated.
We had planned to visit bar Porche
after our walk
Fortunately we warned them at the
start of the walk
Because they were fully booked due to
it being a Spanish holiday
We went to bar NoNombre instead
It is outside the village centre and is usually
more quiet
Today was no different and they were
pleased to have us
In the UK most pubs would welcome a
large walking group
But here in Spain it is often the opposite
Temperature – 19c
Time taken – 3.5 hours
Distance – 9km
